Wool itself also provides a natural ability to regain its standing. It “bounces back” after being compressed. Even after setting something heavy on it, wool will reform its natural crimp when it’s removed. Synthetic fibers lack this ability.

Tufted carpet relies on color injection – this bleeds colors together, making for more muddled lines and patterns that fail to pop. Furthermore, as a tufted carpet wears, the color fades and pops less.

Woven Axminster yarn is pre-dyed. This means the color in the carpet has full penetration. This provides a deeper sense of texture and an aesthetic that’s exceptionally crisp. Patterns are sharp, and the depth of color provides a visual texture that makes the carpet appear very lush and rich.
